“I’m like the ocean on a hot summer day. People submerge themselves in me with relief and joy. They can stay in all day to cool off, but everytime they get pruney, and if they stay too long, they’ll sink. They’ll sink to the bottom, the sun will disappear and they can’t find their way out of the darkness. Sure, my life was filled with adventure, growth, new cities, and new people…who wouldn’t want that? But after so many stops of being a guest star on another’s TV show, I wondered what my show revealed when I was alone. Pain? Loneliness? Utter exhaustion? ”
